After an exciting year at multiple festivals and sold-out shows, Fee - Leeds’ most in-demand session trumpet player - will be celebrating her debut single release "Malicious Intent" at The Attic Leeds this autumn on Saturday 8th November. Fee has been a rising star on the Leeds scene for 4 years now, working as a trumpeter, singer and songwriter. She has performed at many of the city’s most iconic venues, as well as famous venues/events across the UK such as Ronnie Scott’s London, Glastonbury Festival, Manchester O2 Academy, Love Supreme Festival, Manchester Jazz Festival and The Piece Hall Halifax.
In November she’ll be showcasing her debut single, the first from her forthcoming debut EP, alongside a carefully crafted set of originals and arrangements. When choosing the venue for the launch, it had to be at The Attic, with whom she collaborates under the title of ‘‘Graduate Artist in Residence’.
Fee’s music takes influence from the thriving Leeds/UK jazz scene, as well as the incredible singer-songwriters and indie artists with whom she has collaborated and played with over the years. Her songs showcase intricate vocal melodies and sultry trumpet solos, underpinned by a highly skilled eight piece band, and her performances have been described as "exhilarating" and "electrifying". Refusing to be confined to just one genre, her songs include stylistic nods to jazz, afrobeat, hip hop and grime. She has handpicked a band of Leeds’ finest musicians to accompany her, as well as stunning performances from guest rappers and soloists.

Opening band Glass Frogs are a Leeds-based band known for their eclectic mix of jazz, hip-hop, funk and soul music, or as they say, "soul-tinged" and "genre-fluid". They create music with grooving rhythms, expressive vocals, and confessional lyrics that address the complexities of modern life. The band consists of Alexandra Grace (vocals), Rob Gjoka (bass vocals), Henry Blencowe (sax, keys, vocals), Nico Paul (guitar, vocals), and Rafi Morris (drums, vocals), with each member contributing to songwriting. Already favourites on the Leeds alt-jazz/nusoul scene, to date, they've released four singles (all available at their Bandcamp page). Get down early to hear their unique take on soulful music.
